Reflection and Question: The Psalmist gives us words for our faith in God, for the joy we know in worship and for the assurance we feel when we pray. With Paul and the Brief Statement of Faith, “We rejoice that nothing in life or in death can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” When was the last time you felt the yearning for God and faith in God expressed by the Psalmist?

Prayer: O God, Your steadfast love is better than life, so I will bless You as long as I live. Even if there are some who seek my life, my soul will cling to You and Your right hand shall hold me fast. Amen
